About the ArtistI paint because I love color...I love what my brush can do to an empty canvas. I use oil or acrylic pour with an oil overlay. Sometimes I feel like painting subjects in a realistic fashion, but sometimes I love the way a pour spreads color in all directions and then the challenge of deciding what to paint over the colors. Sometimes I feel to paint tranquil places, moments...Sometimes I love to make things move and show action. While I paint I'm in another world... Picasso said, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."...I guess that's why I am forever hooked. |
